Incentive Games, working with online operator bet365, has launched an updated version of its free-to-play game Tournament Challenge ahead of the 2026 World Cup.
The game lets bet365 customers make simple predictions on World Cup matches and track their performance throughout the tournament, bringing a more interactive layer to the football action.
Available through the Free Games section on the bet365 website and app, Tournament Challenge covers both the Group Stage and Knockout Rounds. Players predict whether teams will win, lose or draw, and earn points based on their selections. One prediction per round can also be boosted for double points, with new matchdays released across the tournament to keep the game running alongside the football schedule.
For the 2026 edition, Tournament Challenge introduces a new feature called Your Leagues, which allows players to create private groups with friends and family using a simple code. Once inside a league, players can compare predictions and track scores against each other, turning the World Cup fixture list into a shared competition. The update is designed to make the World Cup free-to-play game experience more social, giving fans a way to stay engaged with matches beyond just watching them.
Tournament Challenge forms part of bet365’s wider free-to-play sports games offering, designed to give customers more ways to engage with major tournaments. For Incentive Games, the project continues its work as a B2B gaming provider creating interactive sports prediction products for regulated operators.
Ahmed Baker, Chief Commercial Officer at Incentive Games, said, “The World Cup is one of the biggest sporting moments on the planet, and Tournament Challenge is designed to bring fans even closer to it. We wanted to create something competitive, social and easy to jump into throughout the tournament. The addition of ‘Your Leagues’ adds a whole new dimension this year, giving players the chance to compete directly with friends and share the experience together. We’re incredibly proud to continue working alongside the fantastic team at bet365 to bring this to life.”
Rhead Hilton, Software Product Development Manager at bet365, said, “With the World Cup bringing together fans from all over the world, Tournament Challenge gives bet365 customers a valuable opportunity to get closer to the action. We are pleased to offer a free-to-play experience that is straightforward, engaging and built around competition, with our Your Leagues feature adding a social dimension that allows players to challenge one another directly and compare predictions. We are also proud to continue our partnership with Incentive Games and deliver another strong product for our customers.”
Tournament Challenge is available to eligible bet365 customers in selected markets, including dedicated versions for Brazil, Spain, Italy and Greece.
