Senior UX/UI Designer
Who We Are
We’re an Edinburgh-based iGaming studio creating games that challenge conventions and leave a lasting impression on players. With a growing team of 50, we combine creative vision with player psychology, data and decades of industry experience to deliver high-quality, engaging experiences.
We’re doing something different. We’re reinventing Crash and Arcade digital Casino gaming to create immersive and unforgettable experiences for our players in a market saturated in slot games. Innovation, collaboration, and craftsmanship drive everything we do, and supported by a culture that values knowledge, wellbeing, and growth, we’re pushing the boundaries of what’s possible.
We care deeply about work-life balance and are always looking for ways to improve the wellbeing of our team. We’re proud to be one of the few UK companies operating a four-day work week. We know that life happens, so we built a flexible and supportive workplace to help
everyone do their best work and enjoy doing it.
The Role
We’re looking for a Senior UX/UI Designer who’s collaborative, adaptable, and genuinely excited about solving complex design challenges. This role isn’t about creating typical casino games. It’s about designing immersive experiences that feel intuitive, exciting, and seamless — while building the systems that make that level of quality repeatable time and time again.
You’ll play a key role in shaping and setting up scalable design systems that make development handoff simple, reduce friction, and ensure consistency across UI controls and game features. You’ll work closely with product owners, artists, and developers to bridge the gap between vision and implementation, while creating engaging, memorable experiences that push the boundaries of what we think about iGaming today.
We’re looking for someone who is forward thinking and innovative, understands player behaviour, and thrives in a collaborative solution-focused environment where constraints are seen as opportunities for creative problem solving. You’ll need to have an eye for detail, an understanding of product and business needs, and a proactive, positive attitude. It’s important that you’re comfortable working quickly and focusing on the highest-impact work first. You understand that in a production environment not everything can be perfected immediately, and you’re able to prioritise what matters most for players and the business.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Design player journeys that balance entertainment, usability, compliance, and conversion
- Apply understanding of player psychology and engagement mechanics to drive better experiences
- Own and evolve our design system, ensuring it enables rapid game development, clear developer handoff, and consistent player experience across titles
- Create wireframes and contribute to high fidelity designs that function within development handoff and commercial environments
- Prototype flows and interactions to communicate intent clearly
- Contribute to user testing to ensure confidence in our design decisions
- Communicate design decisions clearly during team calls while offering alternative solutions for joint decisions
- Give and receive feedback openly – raising the overall quality bar and ensuring an integrated team effort throughout the process
- Support our growing team in a welcoming, collaborative and creative environment
- Adhere to Information Security Management System
- Leverage emerging AI tools that accelerate concept exploration, UI production, asset ideation, and documentation
What We’re Looking For
- At least 5+ years’ experience in UX/UI design with a strong portfolio of shipped digital products and the design thinking behind them
- Proven experience setting up or evolving scalable design systems that improve consistency and enable speedy developer handoff
- Strong understanding of components, states, tokens, and structured UI architecture
- Excellent working knowledge of Figma and its plugins
- Experience designing high-engagement or performance-driven products (iGaming or gaming is a plus)
- Experience with user testing and research to drive product decisions
- Confident collaborating and communicating cross-functionally and with executive team
- Autonomous and proactive, while remaining highly collaborative and recognising the role consistent communication plays in team success
- Adaptable, solution-focused, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- Open to feedback, an understanding of business needs, and able to clearly articulate design decisions
- Openness towards AI tools for streamlining design workflows and efficiency
- Comfortable working within constraints and understanding that sometimes the best solution is the one that moves the product forward fastest
